Miu Miu men's traditional footwear is quite hard to find and offers a rare example of the label's superb eye for proportion. While the line's tend to be resoundingly strange, cobbler-made designs capture the label's forward-thinking spirit through the subtleties of traditional craftsmanship. In our view, it is this intersection of novel and classic that defines Miu Miu's best work.

From the iconic A/W 2006 collection, these riding boots are a beautiful example of Miu Miu's enduring fascination with Western iconography. The silhouette is certainly Cowboy inspired, with curvilinear vamp seams and a refined square toe. At the same time, the fitted silhouette has a sleek elegance that is more reminiscent of formal shoes. The shape is emphasised by a pronounced stitched welt and a thick leather sole. The pull-on style has a slightly wider shaft with grosgrain pull tabs on its sides.

The upper is crafted from heavyweight calfskin with a polished finish, with a stacked leather midsole and thin rubber outsole. The interior is fully lined in leather.
